Individual psychotherapy with adolescents, students and adults
I work from a culturally-sensitive, integrative and holistic approach, where I aim to help clients recognise and reach their untapped resources or strengths to cope with daily challenges and concerns. The therapeutic relationship between the client and myself is valued and a safe-space to explore their concerns is created. Human beings are social beings and especially in the South African context, relationships with significant others, family and community are important to recognise- build and draw on. I acknowledge and appreciate the vast diversity among our South African nation and treat every client with dignity and respect.

For adolescents, teens and students under the age of 18 years, a parent intake may be necessary.

Family Therapy

Therapy with families or certain family members can be helpful in improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, resolving tension, misunderstandings or conflict among other things and building trust. The therapeutic setting provides a safe place to explore such concerns and facilitate the desired change.
